Sheriff: Rifle stolen from Anderson County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle

The burglary happened in the Sterchi Hills subdivision in North Knox County, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Anderson County Sheriff Russell Barker said a rifle was stolen after someone broke into a deputy's patrol vehicle.

The burglary took place in the Sterchi Hills subdivision in North Knox County, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office. 

Besides the rifle, it is unclear if anything else was taken from the patrol vehicle.
