'Our hearts are broken' || ACSO mourns loss of former sheriff Bill White

White served as the Anderson County sheriff from 2002 to 2006.

ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of their former sheriff Bill White. He was 77.

White served as the Anderson County sheriff from 2002 to 2006.

"Our hearts are broken at the Sheriff's Office upon hearing of the passing of former Sheriff Bill White," ACSO said.

According to Fraker Funeral Home, White was in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1969, where he served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer who also loved to fish.

White leaves behind a wife, daughter and two grandchildren.
