KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Commuters on North Broadway may start seeing construction crews return to the area soon, as resurfacing work begins on a section of the road between North Central Avenue and Mineral Springs Avenue.
The city said there could be sidewalk closures at intersections and temporary lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. On social media, the city urged drivers to be wary of workers and to slow down if crews are nearby.
The city also said on social media that the work is expected to finish by Oct. 31. It said that while crews work on the repaving project, commuters should consider taking alternative routes.
