KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The apartments set to be built in the iconic pyramid-shaped building in Downtown Knoxville have received an official name.
A California-based developer bought the site of the former "Hotel Knoxville" in October 2020, with the building serving under many different owners and names over the last few decades.

According to plans in front of the design review board, the apartments will be called "Vision Knoxville," with the board set to vote on allowing branding on the side of the building and a nearby wall. This vote will take place during a meeting on Wednesday.
