MASCOT, Tenn. — Rural Metro Fire said crews responded to a mobile home fire in the Mascot community early Wednesday morning.
The fire was in the 8900 block of C Drive in Mascot and was reported around 3:30 a.m., according to Rural Metro.
Due to the stability of the mobile home, crews had to fight the fire from the exterior, Rural Metro said.
The occupants were not located, but the Knox County Sheriff's Office is attempting to find them, according to Rural Metro.
The fire department said the occupants were using a space heater with an extension cord from the neighbor's power pole and no injuries were reported.
