Thank you for your service! Veterans Day 2017 freebies and deals

You've done so much for your country, some area restaurants want to say thank you to our military members and veterans with some great deals for Veterans Day.

Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11. To honor our military veterans and those are still serving our country, local businesses are offering free or discounted food and services.

The list below contains those specials we know about. Please take note of dates and times, as they vary. In addition, most places will require proof of military service and it's best to call ahead to make sure your location is participating, though you probably won't need to go as far as scrounging for your DD 214 if you have some form of ID issued by the VA such as a VA Health Care Card.
