Los Angeles — Tonight will be Tennessee native Michael Ketterer's last chance to dazzle the country in hopes of winning America's Got Talent.
Ketterer wowed the judges and crowd from his first live performance where he earned the 'Golden Buzzer' from Simon Cowell.
Since then, Ketterer has gained fans by not only his voice, but personality, his values and love for his family.
Ketterer is a husband and father to six 6 children, while also working as a pediatric mental health nurse and worship leader and his church.
He wasn't able to reveal quite yet what he would be performing for his final song, but said it will be a piece everyone knows. He says, to him, the song is about God's influence on his life.
"Always a level of nerves that comes into play and you just feel the pressure to perform your best on stage, but I'm also excited," said Ketterer.
He's been preparing all day for tonight and says he's leaning on family support and faith.
"A lot of prayer, I've been praying since I woke up and my eyes opened this morning. In a lot of ways this song I'm singing tonight is about God how he's pursued me and seen me through all of this, a tribute to him," said Ketterer.
His wife and kids and extended family from the Chattanooga area will be in the crowd to support him.
Ketterer will join nine other finalists in a two-hour live show tonight to vie for the one million dollar grand prize plus a headline stage show at Paris Theater at Paris Las Vegas.
The America's Got Talent winner will be announced on Wednesday evening.
This is season 13 of NBC's "America's Got Talent."
The final competitors will bring a wide range of talents to the stage, from a violinist to a trapeze act duo and comedians.
Despite what happens when the show ends, Ketterer has already picked up a gig alongside country superstar Garth Brooks. After judge Simon Cowell said he'd like to hear Brooks write Ketterer a song, Brooks announced he had done just that through a Facebook live. He said the song would focus on family. Brooks invited Ketterer to sing it for an already sold-out crowd at his October concert at Notre Dame.
Auditions for the next season of "America's Got Talent" are currently underway.
