Maryville — Motorcycle riders honored Sunday the late Maryville Police Officer Kenny Moats, shot and killed by a gunman two years ago while responding to a call.
People from all over the country gathered to pay tribute. All money raised from the fundraiser ride will go to the Officer Moats Foundation.
The nonprofit aims to help other families in need.
"We're pushing the foundation to make a difference in the community and surrounding communities, to keep his name going to keep the things that he did going, because he was so big-hearted and helped so many people." said Moats' father Kenneth.
Officer Moats' friends and family said the event this year was even bigger than the last one. They hope to keep the trend going for years to come.
