KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The MEDIC Regional Blood Center is warning the public about a scam involving the donation center.
Scammers, posing as MEDIC, are reaching out to community members and asking for money and gift cards.
MEDIC said it will never ask you for money.
If you receive a call or text, reach out to contact@medicblood.org and share the number that sent you the scam.
