A 29-year-old Maynardville man died Saturday night when his motorcycle veered off a curve and crashed, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The victim was identified as Adam Gibson. He was driving a 2008 Suzuki at the time of the wreck.
Riding with Gibson was Isaiah N. Huddleston, 18, of LaFollette, according to records. Huddleston was injured.
Both men wore helmets, according to a report. THP Trooper Cory Poteet investigated the crash.
The crash happened about 9:35 pm.
According to a THP report, Gibson was heading north on state Highway 33 at Hickory Valley Road. As he rode a right-hand curve, the motorcycle went off the right side of the highway and flipped, throwing both people off the motorcycle.
No charges were being filed, according to the report.
