KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Update (Oct. 23 at 11:30 a.m.):
The Knoxville Police Department has identified the man who was shot and killed at a concert hall early Saturday morning.
20-year-old Nicholas Sheadrick was shot after a fight allegedly broke out between him and other individuals in a bathroom at the Osmar Event Center, according to KPD.
The event center was rented out for a party and concert. Approximately 300 people were believed to be in attendance, KPD said.
The suspect in the shooting fled before police arrived, according to KPD.
KPD officers, who were in the immediate area of the event, arrived quickly and attempted life-saving measures on Sheadrick. He was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, KPD said.
A suspect has not been identified and the investigation remains ongoing, according to KPD.
Anyone who was at the event or with information is asked to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers at 865-215-7165. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible to receive a cash reward.

The Knoxville Police Department said they are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
KPD said they were called to the Osmar Event Center around 1 a.m. They found a man outside of the center with at least one gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at UT Medical Center.
According to officials, there was a party and concert going on at the time.
There is no word on suspects at this time.
