SWEETWATER, Tenn. — The Monroe County Emergency Management Agency said a man after a tree fell across a home.
This happened during Friday night's severe thunderstorms in Sweetwater.
At this time, the man's identity has not been released.
A line of powerful storms hit several counties across East Tennessee Friday evening. The storms had strong winds that toppled multiple trees and knocked out power for more than 10,000 people, including in Monroe and Knox counties.
Another wave of strong storms hit portions of Monroe and Fentress counties again on Saturday evening.
