LENOIR CITY, Tenn — Update (1/9):
The Lenoir City Utilities Board said one of four electric line poles that fell Monday night has partially fallen again.
Power had to be shut off to stand the fallen pole back up safely, according to LCUB.
Multiple crews are on the scene and are working to get power back up as soon as possible, LCUB said.

The Lenoir City Utilities Board said Monday evening that around 1,679 customers were without power Monday evening after a tree fell down and affected four electric line poles, as well as a conductor.
The utility said on social media that crews were working to restore power but said it could take several hours before power was totally restored. LCUB said the outage mostly affected the Concord Hills, Canton Hollow and Woody Road areas.
Additional information about when power may specifically turn back on was not immediately available. This story will be updated when more information is available.

The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning for areas in the mountains, and a Wind Advisory for areas outside of Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City and other parts of the valley. The areas under a Wind Advisory, the service warned that gusts could reach as his 55 mph.
The Sevier County Electric System also reported around 1,474 customers without power Monday night at around 10:49 p.m. Meanwhile, Newport Utilities reported a total of 239 customers without power at around the same time.
The Morristown Utilities Commission reported around 592 customers without power at around 10:30 p.m.
