KUB offering customers $5 gift card to enroll in paperless billing

Customers who sign up for paperless billing with KUB between July 30 and October 31 will receive the gift card.

In an effort to reduce paper consumption and associated costs, KUB is offering customers a $5 gift card to one of 25 participating retailers if they sign up for paperless billing between July 30 and October 31.

Some of the retailers include Walmart, Subway and Panera Bread.

Customers need to be new enrollees of paperless billing to qualify.

In a news release, KUB said that the goal of the promotion is to support KUB's commitment to environmental stewardship and operation efficiency.

“In addition to the environmental benefits from reduced use of paper products, KUB will save approximately $6 annually on paper and postage costs for each customer who goes paperless, helping KUB control costs for its customers,” Tiffany Martin, KUB's manager of customer experience, said in the news release. "Signing up for paperless billing is an all-around win for KUB, its customers, and the environment.”

Customers who enroll in paperless billing can still get a monthly email with the amount due and its due date, as well as courtesy reminders two days before the due date.

To register, visit kub.org, log in to your account, click on "Billing Options" and then check "Enroll Me" to sign up for paperless billing. To receive the gift card, confirm KUB has your valid email address to gift card redemption instructions.
