KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Balloon artists in East Tennessee and all over the world are bringing smiles to people's faces with an effort called "One Million Bubbles of Hope."
The owner of Volunteer Balloons in Knoxville set up a display in her yard joining 500 other balloon artists this weekend with her creativity.
Sunday isn't the only day she's done this. She's been putting things out there for the last couple of weeks.
"We're just trying to bring cheer to our neighborhood. Some people are going to grocery stores and hospitals and setting up balloons to make people smile because that's what it's all about. We have to keep the faith and be happy," owner Christine Maentz said.
