Knoxville record store to host day-long concert event for Record Store Day

April 22, 2017 is National Record Store Day--a day to celebrate vinyl records and albums. Many local record shops will host special events including Lost and Found Records in North Knoxville. They will host a day-long concert event.

In honor of the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day, Lost and Found Records, located at 3710 N. Broadway, in Knoxville, will host a day-long celebration.

Lost and Found will have  live music, special vinyl record releases and lots of surprises. Their event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Conceived in 2007, Record Store Day is a way to celebrate the nearly 1,400 independently owned record stores in the United States. 

A collection will also be taken up to help a friend of the record store owner's who was injured in a recent accident.

Scheduled to perform:

Noon: Daddy Don't

1 p.m.: Whole Wizard

2 p.m.: The Canceled

3 p.m.: Bark

4 p.m.:  The Shazam

5 p.m.: Mic Harrison And The High Score

6 p.m.: Richard Lloyd
