Knoxville company designed some of the leotards seen in the Olympics, including bronze-medal-winning Brazil team

Ozone Leotards also designed some of the leotards for the Tokyo Games.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A piece of Knoxville could be seen on televisions across the world during the Olympics gymnastics competition. Ozone Leotards is based in West Knoxville and designed the leotards worn by the Brazilian team in Paris.

The company previously designed some of the leotards worn during the Tokyo Olympics. It also designed the leotards for Algeria, Ukraine and Haiti in the Paris Olympics this year.

"You design. You design. You get it ready, you get it out and then you kinda sit down at home and say, 'Wow, there it is.' It kind of stops you in your tracks. It's a surreal experience," said Lea Brown, the Vice President of Design for the company.

The company's catalog includes leotards for young gymnasts, as well as for older teams. One company ambassador, Kaylia Nemour, placed fifth in the all-around finals wearing a leotard designed by the company.

The Brazilian team also earned a bronze medal in the final competition, and the company congratulated the team on social media.
