KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Civic Auditorium-Coliseum will adding metal detectors to all entrances later this week to enhance safety.
The Knoxville Coliseum said walk-through metal detectors will be added for all public events at every entrance starting Friday, Jan. 25.
The coliseum said people should arrive early to events to ensure they are able to make it to their seat when it begins. It's also asking people to reduce the amount of items they carry into the event space to reduce security screening times.
