KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox Pride is helping organize an event at South Press on Saturday, giving graduates a chance to let their creativity loose and paint their graduation caps.
Graduating students can go to South Press between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday with their graduation caps. There, they will find a community of other graduates, and they will be able to paint their caps together.
"Art is not just a way to express oneself but also a way to bring people together," organizers said on social media. "The event, presented by Knox Pride, promises to be a vibrant afternoon of art, community, and local coffee."
Organizers are providing a variety of painting materials, and people will be able to join in the event for a $10 donation. It will be at South Press, a South Knoxville coffee shop located at 3715 Chapman Highway.
