KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — A section of Mine Road is closed in Knox County after leaders said a sinkhole compromised its stability.
The section of road is located north of Mascot, according to Knox County leaders. They said detour signs are in place and crews are working to fix the road. However, they also warned due to the potential size of the sinkhole, the road could be closed until Monday.
"We hope it's fixed sooner," they said on social media.
