KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department responded to a call about a fire at the Handy Dandy Market on South Haven Road. This was just before 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning in South Knoxville.
According to KFD. the person who called the fire in said it was in a cooler and that the store was open at the time.
Firefighters reported smoke and fire coming out of the front door and were able to quickly put the fire out.
The fire was contained in a cooler in the middle of the market.
No injuries were reported and the building suffered minimal water and fire damage.
