KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department was on the scene of a house fire on Chickamauga Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
KFD said heavy smoke and fire were coming through the roof. There was one person and their dog who was able to get out of the house without injury.
The fire has since been put out. No injuries have been reported.
The house suffered significant damage from fire, smoke and water and is a total loss, KFD said.
