KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — According to the Knoxville Fire Department, no injuries were reported after crews responded to a working commercial fire in the 2900 block of Tazewell Pike.
There was heavy smoke coming from the rear end of the shopping center when crews arrived, KFD said.
The department shared a post on social media, warning people of the commercial fire.
"On further investigation, KFD Engine 15 discovered a possible fire at 2901 Tazewell Pike in the Retreat Massage and Skin Care Center," KFD said.
The department said a fire was discovered in a hallway space inside the building, with crews quickly able to knock it down.
The business was closed at the time of the fire and was not occupied, KFD said.
KFD said the fire was out as of around 4:15 p.m. EDT.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
