KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville's Holidays on Ice skating rink saw more skaters this season than any other.
The rink manager said more than 18,300 people laced up their skates this season, which beat the previous record set in the 2011-2012 season of 17,400 skaters.
"It’s a record-breaking year! Best year in 20 years," Robyn Wilson, the rink manager, said.
If you want to get in one last round of ice skating, you have until 9 p.m. on Jan. 2. The rink will open one last time on Tuesday at 1 p.m. before closing for the season that night.
