DANDRIDGE, Tenn. — A two-month child sex crime investigation has led to the arrest of a 39-year-old Dandridge man, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
William "Nick" Eden was charged with 20 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of solicitation of a minor to observe sexual conduct, according to JCSO.
The department said Eden used Snapchat to commit the crimes.
"As your sheriff, I cannot express how important it is to monitor what your children are doing, especially on any social media platform," JCSO's Facebook post said. "These platforms give perpetrators the ability to disguise themselves and victimize our children."
Eden is being held at the Jefferson County Detention Center on a $1 million bond, according to JCSO.
