TALBOTT, Tenn. — A power outage was reported at Talbott Elementary School on Thursday morning, according to school officials.
Approximately 1000 homes in the area are also without power, the Jefferson County School District said. "Due to the outage in the area, likely in students' homes, we do not plan to send students home early."
Plans are in place for an alternative lunch if needed.
