JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — A Jefferson City Police Department record technician for 40 years died in a car wreck Thursday, according to JCPD Chief Andy Dossett.
The wreck happened on Highway 11E near North Chucky Pike, Dossett said.
Marilyn Jones was killed in a wreck after hitting a pickup truck. The pickup truck driver had minor injuries, according to Dossett.
Jones retired several years ago but stayed on as a part-time technician in the years since, according to Dossett.
The crash remains under investigation, Dossett said.
