Man sought on child sex charges arrested in Bean Station

Hamblen County deputies said Dustin Bradley Miller has active warrants for sexual abuse of a child, statutory rape by an authority figure and more.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. — UPDATE THURSDAY: An East Tennessee man wanted on charges in Hamblen and Grainger counties is now in custody.

According to Bean Station police, Dustin Bradley Miller, 35, was taken into custody in Bean Station with the help of multiple area agencies.

Someone saw him running from a house in Bean Station about 8:14 p.m. Wednesday.

Bean Station and Grainger County Sheriff's Office personnel responded. Officers set up a perimeter to encircle the area. Jefferson County Sheriff's Department personnel also arrived to help, and the Bean Station Fire Department assisted with a drone.

"With assistance of the drone and K9, they were able to locate the suspect. He was placed under arrest and transported to Grainger County Jail," according to a Facebook post from Bean Station police.

HCSO said 35-year-old Dustin Bradley Miller has active warrants in Hamblen and Grainger counties for sexual abuse of a child, statutory rape by an authority figure, reckless endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to HCSO, Miller drives a 4-door, silver 2014 Chevy Silverado with a TN tag 359-BDFR.

He has connections to Hamblen, Grainger and Hawkins counties. Deputies said his last known whereabouts was in the Rogersville area.
