Tennessee will be the first state with an anti-bullying law for government workplaces.
Governor Haslam signed the Healthy Workplace Act on Tuesday to help reduce the amount of workplace bullying in the state.
The law will create a standardized policy that state and local governments can follow to limit bullying at work and put in place avenues to protect employees from bullying and employers from future legal action.
