KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Gator meat is on the menu at a Bearden restaurant ahead of Tennessee Football's matchup against Florida.
The Shrimp Dock said on social media it was serving marinated gator, cooked gator, gator wings, raw gator meat and a gator Po Boy ahead of the game. It also said people who buy some specific gator meat meals could get an alligator stress toy for free. People can also buy the squishy itself for around $5.
Gator gumbo is also available, as well as gator dip. The restaurant warned people on social media that the meals and the alligator squishy would only be available while supplies last. It could run out before the weekend when the Vols are set to play against Florida.
That matchup is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.
