GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) - Gallatin High School has been placed on lockdown as authorities investigate a rumored threat.
Deputies with the Sumner County Sheriff's Office have responded to the school.
Gallatin police are assisting in an investigation and said this is NOT an active shooter situation despite rumors on social media.
It's not clear at this time how the threat was received. Sumner County Schools are conducting an investigation at the high school.
