Knoxville — On stage, 90-year-olds sharing a birthday with the historic Tennessee Theatre donned party hats and ate cake with their friends while organist Freddie Brabson fired up the mighty Wurlitzer.
The birthday party was part of the theater's 90th anniversary celebrations and included a large cake shaped like the iconic sign outside.
Guests shared memories they have of the theater that opened when they were born.
