CLINTON, Tenn. — When they wake up on Tuesday morning, the animals at Little Ponderosa Zoo in Clinton, Tenn. have one thing on their minds: food.
"They know it's time for them to have their morning meal. In the evening, they're all waiting for their evening meal. They live in the moment. That's what we need to do, live in the moment," said Director and founder James Cox.
While the zoo is closed to the public, Cox and his team are still busy caring for the animals.
"The most peaceful animal that lives here is the white peacock. It's so peaceful. We call it the angel of the peacocks. I find peace just driving out and watching them," Cox said.
Even though you can't visit the zoo right now to do the same, you can enjoy some of the zoo's other peaceful creatures from home.
A daily live stream of the sheep and their newborn lambs provides hours of calming entertainment.

"The sheep are very content and happy. They take it one day at a time," Cox said.
