The Little Free Library is now stocked with canned goods, hand sanitizer and toilet paper.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — If you stop by Rosie's Little Library in World's Fair Park right now, you'll find more than books.

Rachel Rodgers opened the library box in honor of her daughter, who passed away before birth.

Usually, it's filled with books. Recently, she decided to add a few essentials like hand sanitizer, food and toilet paper for anyone who might need something extra during this difficult time.

"We were inspired by our community members. Those who are checking on those who are older and those who are more vulnerable to the virus. That's been so amazing to see. I think this could be such a great moment for Knoxville if we can band together and take care of those who are more vulnerable than us during this time," Rodgers said.

To find Rosie's Little Library, just look for the red box with a roof at the tree near the restrooms and security building in World's Fair Park.
