Not everyone is happy with small cell phone towers coming to Farragut neighborhoods

Some people in the area are not happy about the towers.

Members of the community said the new towers will decrease property value and bring a negative impact to the community.

People in the Sweet Briar community are trying to organize groups to show up at the Board of Mayor and Alderman meetings on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

During the January meeting, the town discussed installing 11 of the 5G support towers, four of which would be located in residential areas.
