TBI: 2-year-old girl from Sweetwater found safe in Monroe County

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 2-year-old Willow Coon could be with her noncustodial grandmother, Tanya "Lynette" Coon.

SWEETWATER, Tenn. — UPDATE (11/8): The Tennesse Bureau of Investigation said Willow Coon, the subject of an Endangered Child Alert issued Tuesday night, was found safe in Monroe County Wednesday morning.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an endangered child alert Tuesday evening for a 2-year-old who was reported missing from Sweetwater.

The TBI said Willow Coon was last seen on Nov. 5 and has blonde hair with blue eyes, and she could be with her non-custodial grandmother — Tanya "Lynette" Coon. The bureau said Tanya is 50 years old and is around 5'5" tall and weighs around 120 lbs.

Tanya is also wanted by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office for custodial interference, according to the TBI.
