(WBIR) It was all about the crown Saturday night at the Tennessee Valley Fair.
Teens from across East Tennessee competed to be named the "fairest of the fair."The contestants answered judges questions and showed off some formal wear.
Lauren Dubose, 17, ended up winning the top prize.The Oak Ridge native gets to serve as the official fair representative throughout the year and represent our area in the state competition this January. She also received a $500 college scholarship.
Earlier in the day, Jordan Henegar, also from Oak Ridge, was crowned Junior Fairest of the Fair.
