Kentucky State Police conducted a drug round-up in Bell County, resulting in 14 arrests Wednesday.
Post 10 detectives had been investigating the illegal sale of narcotics in the county for several months. Detectives purchased prescription pills, methamphetamine, suboxone and marijuana during the span of their investigation.
Individuals arrested faced multiple counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
Members of Appalachia Narcotics Investigations, Pineville Police Department, Bell County Sheriff's Department and Middlesboro Police Department helped with the investigation. Several investigations remain open, and Kentucky State Police expects more arrests.
