KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department tweeted a picture of a heavily damaged police cruiser hit by a driver on I-275 Saturday.
Neither the officer or the driver were injured. The officer was working another crash when it happened and was not in the cruiser, according to the tweet.
KPD said the driver is charged with DUI and failure to drive with due care.
