(WBIR - Knoxville) Vol football season is underway and as thousands of people tailgate along "The Strip" they now have a new unexpected food option.
Arby's restaurant has rolled out its first food truck anywhere and it can be found right here in East Tennessee.
When the Vols are in town its parked at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and Nineteenth Street.
The restaurant's local Director of Brand Innovation David Beach said, "It's only for home football games so far."
The food truck made its debut last Sunday when the Vols defeated the Utah State Aggies. So far, Beach said the mobile vendor seems to be a hit among football fans.
"It's been pretty positive. I know the speed that we can get the food out has helped so if they're in a hurry to get in the game they sure can get there fast, said Beach."
The Arby's food truck joins several others that are operating in the City of Knoxville. Earlier this year, the city announced a pilot program that allows food trucks to set-up at several designated locations between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m.

Although 10News didn't see any other food trucks on the day the Vols took on the Arkansas State Red Wolves, Beach said he won't be surprised if more mobile vendors begin parking and serving the crowd of people on game days.
The Arby's food truck travels throughout the area. To find out where it will be visit its Facebook page.
