A fire in downtown Knoxville sent a plume of smoke over the Broadway viaduct Thursday evening, located near the Old City and Balter Beerworks.
A Knoxville Fire Department spokesperson said that the fire involved several tires, helping fuel the flames. He said no injuries were reported due to the fire, and crews were responding to it by 7:15 p.m.
