KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE (2/1): Donovan Smith has been found safe on Thursday, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an Endangered Child Alert on behalf of the Knoxville Police Department on Friday.
Donovan Smith, a 16-year-old, was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, dark blue shoes and a red beanie hat, according to the TBI.
The agency said information provided to law enforcement indicates that Smith may be armed with a weapon.
Smith has a known medical condition and is believed to be without his medication, according to the TBI.
