(WBIR - CLAIBORNE COUNTY) Four people have been charged in connection with the death of a Clairfield man.
Hershel Gulley, 56, was found dead in his yard last Friday. Investigators believe he had been beaten, but an exact cause of death has not been determined.
Now, the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office has charged four people: Vanessa Anne Hurst, 26, Kayla June Partin, 28, and Tommy Lynn Hurst, 50, have all been charged with criminal homicide and conspiracy to commit robbery. Brandon James Partin, 26, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Officials said Brandon Partin and Kayla Partin are siblings while Vanessa Hurst is Tommy Hurst's niece.
Sheriff David Ray told 10News their investigation is not over and is still continuing.

Authorities have taken two people into custody in connection with a man's death in the Clairfield community of Claiborne County.
According to Claiborne County Sheriff David Ray, officials received a call Friday around 2 a.m. about a man lying in a yard off of Tracy Branch Road. The caller said the man in the yard appeared to have been beaten.
When deputies arrived they found the victim, Hershel Gulley, 56, was deceased.
Investigators collected evidence and interviewed witnesses. Two people were then taken into custody. Sheriff Ray described them as persons of interest; however, no charges have been filed as of Monday afternoon.
An autopsy is being performed on the victim to determine the cause of death.
