Knoxville resident and winner of NBC's The Voice Chris Blue stopped by WBIR Wednesday to share information on his new single.
The single, which comes out Friday, is called Blue Blood Blues. Blue said it's all about overcoming adversity, something we all face.
Blue won season 12 of The Voice.
His new single is just a preview of what's still to come. You can see Chris Blue perform that song live on the voice finale next Tuesday, Dec. 19.
There weren't any contestants from East Tennessee this season but two from middle Tennessee are still in the competition. Mt. Juliet native Chloe Kohanski and Red Marlow of Dickson will compete in next week's finale on NBC. Both are members of "Team Blake," coached by country star Blake Shelton.
