Knoxville's Chris Blue returned to The Voice stage Tuesday night.
The season 12 winner performed his new single "Blue Blood Blues" during Tuesday night's season 13 finale.
Before he performed, Voice coach Alicia Keys took a minute to say how proud she is of what Blue has accomplished since he won NBC's hit singing contest show in May.
"He puts the work in. He puts the time in. He is a true artist," Keys said.
Keys said she hopes Blue will soon be touring around the U.S.
After his performance, Blue sent a special message to fans watching at home in East Tennessee.
"Knoxville, I want to thank you so much," he said. "We've turned this thing full circle. You voted. You allowed me to have this opportunity, and now we're here."
Another Tennessee singer was named The Voice champion as Mt. Juliet native Chloe Kohanski won Tuesday night.
