KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Former 10News Sports Director Bob Kesling was inducted into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame on Saturday. Kesling began his career in 1980 when he anchored the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts for WBIR for almost two decades.

Since 1999, Kesling has been the "voice of the Vols" for football and men's basketball. Kesling was also the play-by-play voice for women's basketball during Pat Summitt’s first six national championships.

Kesling was also a four-time recipient winner of the "Sportscaster of the Year" award for the state of Tennessee.

"With an association dating back 50 years, he is the longest-serving member in the history of the 75-year-old Vol Network," said UT Sports. "Active in the community, Kesling serves on the board of directors for Goodwill, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame and was the 2013 United Way Campaign Chairperson."

Kesling was also inducted into the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame in 2015 and the Tennessee Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame in 2020.
