BCSO said family members have not seen or talked to Cheyenne since Aug. 24, 2018.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. — Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong announced that the human remains found over the weekend have been identified as Cheyenne Tonisha Shropshire, a 22-year-old Alcoa woman who was reported missing by a family member on Sept. 8, 2018.

Forensics experts at Knox County Regional Forensic Center were able to identify the remains by comparison from dental records, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
