SEVIERVILLE, Tenn — Sevierville officials said a Kodak plant had to be evacuated Wednesday after an ammonia leak inside the building.
The incident happened at the Swaggerty Sausage plant on Swaggerty Road.
According to Bob Stahlke, a Sevierville public information officer, all employees were safely evacuated. The city said emergency crews responded as a precaution and that there was no danger to the surrounding area.
Stahlke said the plant was working to repair the leak.
