American Pickers stop in at Crossville section of 127 Yard Sale

One man's trash is another's cash. People from all over, including a couple from the History Channel's American Pickers, stopped in Crossville to snag the best deals.

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — The 'World's Longest Yard Sale' happens every year along Highway 127. The booths are set up from Michigan to Alabama, spanning nearly 700 miles in total.

The yard sale brought people from all around to Tennessee, and hundreds of vendors camped out along the route.

John Bennett traveled with his wife and friends from Cincinatti, and is making his way back home to Georgia, stopping at all sorts of yard sale stops along the way.

"We just love this sort of thing, we love going to see what old things we're looking for," Bennett said.

Everything from tobacco sticks, to rusted signs, to vintage gear, tons of items were loaded up into trucks and trailers.

Roger Faulkner's goal is to sell his found treasures. Luckily for him, one of his items got picked up by

"I sold them a bike Monday," Faulkner said. "It was the boys from the Nashville store came over."

He says the Pickers have come to Crossville and bought from him before, and they're always asking for the things that are different and unusual.

Roger says having the Pickers come through was an honor, but the thing he loves most is meeting new people, and what he sells items for isn't that important to him.
