A Knoxville man is being arraigned Tuesday in a 66-count indictment alleging he supplied guns to the Chicago-based "Gangster Disciples" street gang. Colin Scott is accused of conspiracy to buy guns from pawn shops and sporting goods stores, then distributing them to members of the gang in Chicago. He is to appear in U.S. District Court for his initial appearance. An alleged co-conspirator, Dwight George Williams, is still at large. Scott and Williams are accused of buying nearly 50 guns in eleven months as part of the alleged conspiracy to arm the gang. The indictment does not state whether Scott and Williams are gang members.
